Soloists
Cat. A (up to 12 years - free program* max 5 min.);
Cat. B (up to 14 years - free program* max 5 min.);
Cat. C (up to 16 years - free program* max 7 min.);
Cat. D (up to 18 years - free program* 10 min.);
Cat. E (up to 35 years - first round: free program up to 15 min. Compositions comprising at least two different periods; final 20 min. it’s allowed to repeat first round pieces);
Cat. F (amateurs at any age - free program 10 min.).

Ensembles (duo, trio, quartet, etc. guitar also with other instruments)
Cat. G (up to 18 years - documented by the average age of participants: example - duo, trio or quartet, guitar with also other instruments - free program 10 min.)
Cat. H (up to 18 years - documented by the average age of participants: example - small ensemble with guitar - free program 10 min.)
Cat. I (up to 35 years, duo, trio or quartet, guitar with also other instruments - free program 10 min.)
Cat. L (amateurs at any age, guitar with also other instruments - free program* 10 min.)

Mario Gangi Award
Participants in different categories (E and H) can include in their program a free choice composition by Gangi Mario, the jury will give a separate score to the performance of this song. The competitor who has the highest score among all, regardless of category, will receive the prize.

WHEN and WHERE

Cat. M: Friday 20th at 18:00

Cat. E First round: Saturday the 21st at 9:30 am

Cat. E Final Sunday the 22nd at 15:30

Cat. A, B, C, D, F,: Sunday 22nd at 9:30

Cat. G, H, I, L: Sunday 22nd at 16:30

Rankings and Awards:

The international jury is composed of five Teachers of the Festival.

Cat. A, B, C, D, F, G

- Vote of not less than 95/100: 1st award diploma;
- Vote of not less than 90/100: 2nd award diploma;
- Vote of not less than 85/100: 3rd award diploma;

to all other participants: certificate of participation.

- The overall winner, among the soloists categories, who obtains the highest score(no ex aequo) will receive a Rodriguez Guitar, an electronic tuner, sets of strings La Bella, Carisch publications.

- All those who have reached a vote of more than 95 points will receive a pack of strings La Bella and Carisch Publications.

Cat. E - Awards, concert section

For the first three places (no ex-aequo):

I Place - 1st Award Diploma; - RAMIREZ CLASSICAL GUITAR study model; - Carisch Publications; - Ramirez-Carisch Tour 2012-13: the winner will be invited to perform in 2012-13 (with only expenses - airplane only from and to European directions, those who live outside Europe will receive 150 euros for the airplane) in the following International Festivals: Festival Internacional "Andres Segovia" in Madrid International Guitar Festival City of Fiuggi

II Place - 2nd Award Diploma; - Professional Tunning Machine for calssical Guitar Exagon Web Site: EXAGON Tuning Machine - La Bella Strings; - Carisch publications.

III Place - 3rd Award Diploma; - Professional guitar tuner - Carisch publications.

Cat. I - Awards Ensemble - concert section

For the first three places (there are no ex-aequo)

I Place - 1st Award Diploma; - Winners will be invited perform in 2013 (with expenses - airplane only from and to European directions) in the International Guitar Festival - City of Fiuggi - Professional guitar tuner - La Bella Strings; - Pubblicazioni Carisch.

II Place - Diploma II premio; - La Bella Strings; - Pubblicazioni Carisch.

III Classificato - Diploma III premio - La Bella Strings; - Pubblicazioni Carisch.

COSTS:

• Category E is 50.00 euros, while the Ensemble Category H is 25.00 euros per component.
• Categories for up to 18 years (A, B, C, D) are: 30.00 euros; if masterclass students: 20.00 euro.
• Ensemble categories G, H, L are: 10.00 euros per component.
• Amateur Category F is: 40.00 euros; if masterclass students: 30.00 euros.
• Acoustic Guitar Category M is: 30.00 euros; if masterclass students: 20.00 euros.
