The duo Rikke Petersen, flute and Finn Elias Svit, Guitar have successfully given concerts at a number festivals. Their fine togetherness and individual musicianship make the concerts a very special experience for the audience. Music by Bach, Carulli, Boutros, Grieg, Nielsen, Piazzola and others.

Rikke Petersen, flute:
Rikke Petersen is educated a Music Performer from Det Fynske Academy of Music, Candidate form the Hett Kanninklijk Muzeickconservatory, Brussels and at the Royal Music Conservatory in Brussels, from which she obtained 1st Prix. Rikke Peternsen is a freelance flutist and often performs as a soloist in the Danish National Church. Rikke has played with The Funen Opera and Odense Symphony Orchestra, with whom she has also been a soloist.
Prof. Kee Young Chony has dedicated the solopiece ”SI” for Rikke Petersen.
Concerts in Germany, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Hungary, Belgium and Netherlands.

FINN ELIAS SVIT, guitar.
Finn Elias Svit plays works for solo guitar by e.g. Bach, Sor, Giuliani, Tárrega, Villa Lobos, Granados, Barrios, Ponce, Brouwer and modern Danish composers such as Per Nørgaard, Flemming Weis and Mogens Christensen as well as the guitar concerts by i.a. Vivaldi, Rodrigo.

Finn Elias Svits’ special interest in chamber music has contributed to participation in a large number of chamber music projects with both Danish and international musicians in many ensembles, here especially with the violinist Jochen Brusch. In addition to the evening concerts, the collaboration with Jochen Brusch has resulted in more than 1200 concerts for Danish school children. Programs such as – “The Animals in Music”, “Around the world in 45 min”, “Niccolo Paganini a witch master on violin”, “Classical with Brusch and Suite” m.m. have all been a great success. Finn has then played guitar duo with names such as Prof. Bernard Hebb, Prof. Michael Tröster, Leon Frijns, Maria Linnemann and Petko Genkov. Most recently, Finn has toured with the Trio Brandt, Petersen and Svit.

The tours have taken him to most European countries as well as to the United States, Mexico, Thailand, and China. In addition to giving master classes at international guitar festivals, he has been a jury member at many international guitar competitions.

Finn has, since 1996, been chairman of and is the initiator of the Aalborg International Guitar Festival and has received the Pakhus Prize for this work. In 2006, he was named artist of the year in Skørping Municipality for his work with the dissemination of classical music for children. Finn Elias Svit also have experience as leader of Mariagerfjord Art School and has been a board member of Sangens Hus since and are now a board member of Danish Guitar Society.
